the James TAYLOR I Descendants Association

  James Taylor I was born in England and came to Virginia in the mid 1600's.
He is the forefather of two presidents, James Madison and Zachary Taylor.

  The Taylor Associaton is dedicated to historical and genealogical research and the collection, preservation and publication of books, records, manuscripts and other materials having a historical or antiquarian value to the decendants of James Taylor I and the Taylor Family.

  The Association is open to family descendants and any other interested individuals and families. Complete Association membership and much more information is included at the News and Information pages. There is a closed forum and discussion group on Facebook that descendants or friends of the Association can join, but you must send a request to join to the site. There are two sites with genealogical data collections: one at RootsWeb hosted by Ancestry.com and the other at Ourfamtree.org created by Ray Gurganus. Both sites are open to the public for viewing and research and are also available for modification by association members.
